This Project Site is designed to provide up to date information concerning the activities associated with the development and construction of the Macarthur Wind Farm and is the primary source of information surrounding project progress, community initiatives, environmental issues and social engagements.
This exciting development is currently the largest of its kind in the southern hemisphere and is a joint undertaking between AGL Energy Limited. and Meridian Energy Limited. As the Joint Venture's Agent for the delivery of the project, AGL Hydro is committed to ensuring all project phases are delivered in a safe and professional manner and that all feedback from interested stakeholders is addressed in a timely and effective way.
Drawing on over 170 years experience in retail energy, in both gas and power supply, AGL is looking to further expand this position by exploring a suite of low emission and renewable energy generation development opportunities. This project is a key part of this expansion and will provide clean and sustainable energy for many years to come.
